I will stamp all over 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Ex twice world boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's biggest financial successes, consistently making substantial financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really going ahead.
